"When we acquired him there was a 30-day period in which we had the opportunity to make a decision based on how we felt about him," said Moose head coach/GM Randy Carlyle. "When he came back off of (the injury) he just didn't seem to have the fit that we required."
The move leaves the Moose with the minimum 16 players and two goaltenders healthy. Lonny Bohonos is out for another couple of weeks with a fractured leg and winger Marc Rodgers, who has been having injury problems with the Detroit Red Wings, may be reassigned to the Moose soon.
