Corey Spring recalled by Lightning

Today the Manitoba Moose announced that forward COREY SPRING has been
recalled by the Tampa Bay Lightning and designated for reassignment. Spring
played eight games with the Moose recording two goals and two assists. He
had eight penalty minutes and was minus-one. Spring began the 1999-2000
season with the Detroit Vipers where he recorded nine points on five goals
and four assists in 20 games.
Spring was originally signed as a free agent by the Lightning after spending
four seasons at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks where he scored 45 goals
and added 45 assists in 145 games. He has 16 NHL games to his credit and
played 48 games last season with the Cleveland Lumberjacks
